Relax. Santa Claus’s home is Covid-safe.

Relax.
Santa Claus’s home is Covid-safe.

Santa Claus’s village, Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland is one of the most famous travel destinations during the northern hemisphere Christmas season.

This year however travelling to his home in Lapland will be restricted for safety measures.

Meeting Santa in Lapland is the dream of many children (and those adults like us with covert Peter Pans inside). And without fail, the idea of sitting on Santa’s lap and chatting about dreams remains open.  And this year the dream remains open still, without fear of infection!

Instead, people can sit on their couches at home because tour operators are bringing Santa to you thanks to virtual technologies.  Right into your own home!

In a ten minute video call, moderated by a Responsible Elf, families will be shown around Santa’s Lapland before meeting the white-bearded man himself in a private meeting!

So, why are are we banging on about Santa?

Different times call for different measures, don’t you agree?
